Candida cleansing creates a lot of toxins in the body. Not only do you have the dead candida to contend with, but you also have the extra toxins that the still living candida puts out. Many people do not realize that when they cleanse, the reason they may feel “bad” is because of the toxins generated from the cleanse. If you feel poorly for more than 3 or 4 days, you are toxic.
If you are toxic, a dry sauna may be very helpful in eliminating toxins quickly and effectively. Dry saunas eliminate toxins like pesticides, preservatives, chemicals and heavy metals through the skin. This can relieve the pressures of candida cleansing. A good sweat will flush the body, speed up metabolism and kill harmful bacteria and even some viruses. The dry sauna will help to speed healing and increases immune response. Dry sauna, wet sauna and steam baths are extremely beneficial, especially four to six times per month or about 5 to 7 days for 30 minutes or more for dry sauna and 15 minutes or so for a wet sauna or steam.
