Tabula Rasa – A Clean Slate
A clean slate, a place to start… The hardest part about starting a blog of this nature is taking the plunge and actually putting “pen to paper” or, more accurately, “fingertips to keyboard”. The best place to start? hmmmm…. perhaps, the beginning. Â
Three years ago I got a urinary tract infection. My doctor put me on the traditional 10 day antibiotic – nothing major, just amoxicillin. In two weeks from the start of the antibiotic I was miserable. I had developed a vaginal yeast infection, was tremendously fatigued (not great when homeschooling 5 children), my eyes hurt, my joints ached and the list of symptoms went on and on. My health was on the worst downward spiral I have ever experienced and it didn’t seem like I was anywhere close to hitting bottom.
I had been hearing about systemic yeast infections for a little while and I guessed that I had this. So, I started a candida fighting protocol… and could not believe the difference in how I felt. Since that time, I have done a tremendous amount of research about candida, have helped thousands of people through an effective candida fighting regimen(www.stopyeast.com), have written an online free ebook on how to treat vaginal yeast infections (www.yeastinfectionsolutions.net) and am now writing this blog as a way to be more interactive with people who are struggling with this condition.Â

I too struggled with candida. Looking back, I would say now that I’d suffered from candida symptoms for 20 years or more.
