The increase from 1 to 1 1/2 packets of ThreeLac isa bit too powerful for you, meaning that you are killing candida too quickly. Your body is having a tough time getting the dead candida out of the system. When candida dies, it becomes a toxin in the system. THe body will move the toxins to the arms and legs in order to get the toxin as far away from the heart and internal organs as possible. This can result in swelling in the hands and feet. There are a number of ways to relieve this. 1. Reduce the ThreeLac or FiveLac to 1 packet per day 2. Make sure you are taking a soluble fiber containing psyllium or apple pectin - if you can't do a fiber, activated charcoal will also work. 3. Since this reaction seems pretty extreme, Epsom salt baths with added Ginger would be helpful. 1 cup of Epsom salt in hot bath water. also include about 1-2 tsp of freshly grated ginger to help with any pain. 4.
