Yes, it is true. Men can get yeast infections, too! Usually, the immune system can fend this off, but not always. The symptoms of a yeast infection in males are: soreness, irritation or itching at the head of the penis, white clumpy discharge, red color or white blisters at the head of the penis, burning sensation during intercourse or urination, severe itching or pain, a transient rash, or...

A vaginal yeast infection will plague 3 out of 4 women in thier lifetime. Symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection include vaginal discharge (usually cottage cheesy, but sometimes you will see a thin, clear discharge), internal or external itching or even burning. You may also see external redness in the vaginal area. Many women will not even be aware that they have a yeast issue.
The...

Black Walnut is a popular herbal remedy for candida. I do not feel that it is powerful enough (in most cases) to eliminate chronic candida problems, but Black Walnut does have its uses.Â
Black Walnut is not only antifungal, but it has the side benefit of also being antiparasitic and antiviral. It will work best for you if you are struggling with candida issues...

Candida will often appear in different ways on the skin. Some people experience itchy rashes, some red (literally flaming red) smooth rashes, some will see itchy raised white bumps, but some will see athlete’s foot. Athlete’s foot is where the skin between the toes starts to peel and break down; this is a fungal infection of the foot. Getting rid of the candida in the gut will help...

just a quick note… if you have pink eye, you don’t need antibiotic drops from the doctor (unless you really want them). If your eyes are red, watering, and itching or burning just take come colloidal silver and place 1 drop in your eye 2-3 time daily. If you wear contact, don’t wear them while you have an infection. I just got an eye infection of some kind (eye lids were swollen,...

The candida diet is a very retrictive diet. The purpose of this diet is to starve the yeast organisms by not giving them the food that they need to survive. There are some drawbacks with this diet: 1. It is not nutritionally sound and you are in danger of becoming deficient if you are on it for a long time. Please take nutritional supplements (multivitamin and extra magnesium/calcium) if you...

I don’t believe that following the anticandida diet is as important now as it was five or more years ago. Technology and new advancements in dietary supplements have gotten us to a point where the dreaded candida diet is not as necessary as it once was. I do agree that people struggling with candida must control their sugar and alcohol consumption; there is certainly no point in throwing...

Hello. My name is Tara. When I was a baby the Docters said my Mom was sick and gave me antiboictis so I didn’t get it.  After that, I have always have stomach problems. It really hurt when ever I ate something. My Mom and Dad were worried. Then we figured about Candida. Mom looked around on the internet and found something called Threelac. I tried it out (my stomach was hurting...

Believe it or not, toxicity is probably one of the main reasons that a candida cleanse may fail. Candida causes a large number of symptoms, but what may not be commonly known is that the symptoms that a person who has candida experiences may not be due to the actual presence of candida, but to the toxins that the candida exudes. Candida releases up to 79 distinct toxins into the system and...

A clean slate, a place to start… The hardest part about starting a blog of this nature is taking the plunge and actually putting “pen to paper” or, more accurately, “fingertips to keyboard”. The best place to start? hmmmm…. perhaps, the beginning. Â
Three years ago I got a urinary tract infection. My doctor put me on the traditional 10 day antibiotic...
