I ran into an article today that talks about the benefits of vitamin D. Apparently, T Cells, the immune system’s killer cells, rely on vitamin D to become active. If vitamin D is not present, the T Cells will not recognize the presence of a pathogen or infection and will not activate themselves to fight the condition. Vitamin D deficiency is becoming quite common in the USA and Canada as...

Here is an excerpt from the article:

Vitamin D3 is an important vitamin that is needed for 10 different reasons. We are supposed to get our Vitamin D3 through sun exposure, but so many of us work indoors now that it is hard to get the amount our body needs. Even when we are in the sun, we cover up with sun screen lotions for fear of developing skin cancer. As a result, many people are very deficient. It is virtually impossible to...

I have a friend who I have known for a very long time, her name is Heather. She got married a few years go and had two beautiful children; a little girl (Sienna) and a little boy (Krischan). Her little boy started having some interesting digestive problems only a few weeks after he was born, but that was manageable. Around 1 year of age, Krischan developed two sores on his back and neck that...

Although most people want to know the most effective way for them to kill candida, the next question on thier mind is how long is this going to take?
Well, it is going to take a while. Candida killing is not something that can occur over night. There are some things you can take (Diflucan, for example) that will offer pretty quick relief, but I feel that Diflucan only causes the symptoms to subside...

They have actually done a study. No surprise: herbs, supplements and vitamins have caused ZERO deaths in 2009. Can any of the pharm. drugs say that same thing? I doubt it!

When a person is toxic the lymphatic system may become overloaded. A sign that the lymph system is overloaded may be tenderness of the skin, swollen lymph nodes, hard nodules in the back of the head or other areas of the body, excessive sweating (especially in the area of the neck and down to the chest). There is a very simple way to help your lymph system do its job; I have detailed that method...

The Ileocecal valve is often a weak spot for people with candida. It is located on the lower right abdomen between the belly button and right hip bone. The Ileocecal is a sphincter muscle that acts as a one way valve between the small and large intestine. This valve prevents the reflux of colon contents into the ileum. If it is open you may see tenderness and twinges in or around its location...

I just ran into an article at http://bit.ly/7Gq0j7 that talks about a prevalent relationship between cancer and insomnia (and other sleep disruptions). A study performed by the Duke Clinical Research Institute and backed by the National Cancer Institute showed that up to half of all cancer patients report some form of sleep interruptions. Things that qualify as a sleep disruption include: difficulty...
